Our journey begins early at 07:30 from the parking lot in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia or in front of the your accommodation. Traveling via the motorway to Čačak and then along the scenic Ibar motorway to Novi Pazar, we approach the remnants of the medieval city of Ras, once the flourishing capital of the Serbian medieval state. Upon arrival, our first stop is the fortress itself, located at the Gradina site above the market area of Stari Trg.
